能為今日家居融合的理想座地式揚聲器

JMR憑著多年設計製作揚聲器經驗,與及搜集得來的音響市場研究表示,一般家庭都不想擁有太大體積的音箱,而影響既有的室內設計和擺設。但優秀的音樂重播,音箱體積與使用空間是成正比例的,故用上大容積音箱仍不能容易普及。因此,JMR設計出最適宜一般家居使用的音箱體積Orfeo Surpeme (奧菲歐)來打造重播音樂的極限。
 
採用獨家之三角形導管傳輸線式聲箱設計,於Orfeo有限容積箱體中,產生有速度和更深沉的低頻得以伸延及補償。Orfeo設計以極線性表現為基礎,引入雙鋁帶震膜高音、Axial Fixation of Woofers等多項著名技術,令Orfeo揚聲器營造出高速傳送、反應敏捷、富有自然音色表達的個性。廠方為了令箱體得以更強的穩定度,刻意安排了能灌入1公斤重量沙粒的獨立箱室,讓用家可隨自己系統對諧震阻尼需要,使音箱的重心作出不同程度的調節。優悅的分頻器,使Orfeo內阻抗變化獲得絕對的曲線平直度,用家選擇放大器驅動Orfeo就能更得心應手,無論是晶體管或真空管式功放,都能應付自如。
 
Orfeo採用獨有之Triangular Transmission Line三角形導管傳統輸線式聲箱設計。音箱前、後障板以厚達44mm及選用天然櫻桃木皮作外飾。圓邊聲箱設計以減低音箱邊角帶來之繞射。聲箱內使用帶黏及彈性的阻尼物料,將音箱內不必要的聲能轉化成熱能。箱底預留能灌入1公斤重量沙粒的獨立箱室,供用家調節自已需要的阻尼程度。
 
低音單元跟其它JMR高級型號一樣, 採用Axial Fixation of Woofers‬技術,使用一枝無磁性不銹鋼柱,將單元背後支架連接到聲箱後障板鎖緊。利用鋼管鎖緊音箱後障板產生適當之拉力,能加強單元之穩定性,與及減低單元支架和磁鐵所產生之不必要震幅。單元支架各自加入適量的阻尼物料,進一步減低多餘諧震所帶來之音染。
 
低頻部份選用兩枚6.5吋低音單元,其中一枚響應範圍從2,200Hz至35Hz,構成二路半分音特性。單元本身採用鋅合金防震支架及以防彈布混合碳纖而成之非編織式震盤,構成最佳的阻尼特性。而中低頻單元中央採用渦流式相位塵栓,減低相位偏差。兩枚單元同樣擁有達1.5吋多線圈長度,以Kapton(聚醯亞胺)散熱,以及強化震幅衝程範圍。
 
雙鋁帶高音設計,使震膜的面積加大,震動範圍得以伸延。以獨立實木子彈型無邊聲箱懸掛於本箱體頂,內藏阻尼物及箱體為黃金比例設計,令相位獲得更佳的圖譜。
單元面外為鋁質造成之雙曲線式號角,強化中心帶指向性,獲得30度多的擴散能力。
 
分音器以6、12及18dB每八度音段衰減式分音,分頻點為600及2.2kHz,兩路半三單元設計。採用優質及低內阻銅線作分音線圈,鍍銀製電容和無電感值電阻等元件,杜絕電磁波干擾,帶來準確之工作狀態。內部接線選用原廠之HP-1132發燒線材。

P R E S E N T A T I O N

Developed with patience and great rigor and incorporating the technical innovations introduced in the Cantabile Supremes and Offrande Supreme, V2抯, the Orf閛 in its Supreme version is the quintessence of JMR ingenuity and brilliance.

Extremely linear, generating constant signal densities in all registers; it elaborates both an authoritative and subtle musicality with wonderful ease. There is no excessive 慶haracter� and there is great nuance. These speakers are remarkably versatile, as skillful at rendering small chamber orchestras as they are in reproducing the telluric charges from a symphonic orchestra. They create a feeling of serenity emerging from a source of boundless limits.

The natural harmonic richness that has always typified JMR speakers is perfectly maintained, without sacrificing the transparency and immediacy necessary for an accurate and exciting rendering of music. Interpreting even a highly complex work becomes surprisingly easy, allowing for an effortless and natural listening experience.

The Orf閛 Supremes develop a stereophonic image particularly well staged in width and depth, perfectly stable and well beyond the level expected of a floor-standing speaker.
Though its components are of extremely high quality, in the interest of keeping the speaker within an affordable price range, they are not fabricated from costly materials, which would add nothing to the ability of the speaker to provide musical interest. Technically very sophisticated, the newest Orf閛 was, as usual, tuned and validated by long hours of listening: measurements are still not able to capture all that we hear. Extended and attentive listening enables us to make a speaker抯 performances even better, better able to serve its primary function as genuine emotion carrier.

The meticulous and precise selection of all the electronic and electrodynamics components, the use of silver capacitors, the tensioning of the axial fixation of its woofers, and the precise position of viscoelastic damping compound at strategic sites into its cabinetry make the Orf閛 Supreme a decisively premium but affordable system.

Thanks to its superb performance and the linearity of its impedance curve, the Orf閛 Supreme is easy to drive. However it needs pristine electronics of excellent design provided with substantial power supplies to achieve its great vivacity and to reveal its impressive dynamic capacity. Finally, even though it has considerable extension in the low range, the Orf閛 Supreme performs well in a relatively small room.

Their handsome design and proportions as well as their conspicuously meticulous hand crafted build enable these speakers to fit gracefully into both traditional and contemporary decors.


 

Technical informations



LOUDSPEAKER CABINET:
Tuned triangular transmission line leading to a front laminar event port with progressive linkage to ambient air. Sanding cavity at the bottom back of the cabinet, allowing the addition of 400g to 1Kg of dry sand in order to take down the gravity center and also to add internal pressure at the end of the transmission line giving a better control, if necessary in certain acoustic condition, to the low end frequencies that become more articulated and more transparent.

DRIVERS:
Built by a manufacturer accustomed to professional speaker unit production with very low tolerances, they are designed to have exactly the same sensitivity avoiding the use of resistors for level equalization. The hyper graph cones of the woofers are made with carbon/Kevlar/graphite non-woven compound molded at low temperature under 3 tones of pressure avoiding the use of any binder material.
Because their frequency response is very flat and without phase errors the crossover is as simple as possible. The upper woofer is equipped with an optimized profile anti vortex phase plug avoiding stationary waves at the bottom of the cone and improving the phase response and directivity.
The ribbon tweeter is a handmade masterpiece housed in a solid wood head designed to produce a very regular polar diagram.

2 x 6,5拻 diameter units. Zamac basket, double magnet. Aerated flat spider, 1.5攎oving coil wound onto kapton support. Ventilated core. 

TWEETER
Double ribbon to avoid any transmission of lateral surface sound waves. Overall dimensions respecting golden number proportions. Hyperbolic plain aluminum horn optimizing the efficiency and directivity till 30� out of the axes. They are built under custom specification using a specific inner damping felt at strategic spots resulting form our latest researches.

CROSSOVER
6, 12 et 18 dB/octave
Cutoff frequencies: 600 - 2200 Hz.
Large section copper air-coils, silver-framework capacitors with low tolerances. R/C circuit to have a linear impedance curve on the used bandwidth. 
Point-to-point wiring, no circuit board. All components are measured and sorted with 0,1% tolerance in order to have exact same characteristics providing matching technical and musical performances of each pair of loudspeaker produced.

CABINET
20 and 26mm real Aniegre-veneered medite material on both sides. 44mm sandwich structure for the back of the cabinet.
Assembled under press to guarantee a completely inert structure. Optimised internal damping.
Rounded edges in solid beech wood to limit diffraction effects.
The axial fixation of the woofer to the back of the cabinet allows a controlled tensioning of the cabinet and provides a uniform mechanical effort in between the woofer basket and the baffle, it is drastically improving the transitory pulse response of the system eliminating any vibration or micro move of the magnet core.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
Thanks to its low and extremely regular directivity, it is not necessary to arrange the two speakers so that they converge towards to ideal listening point, in order to draw maximum benefit from the phase of the system.
The distance between the two will be determined experimentally. In theory, the ideal distance is 3 meters from one centerline to the other, but this may be reduced. In order to get a consistent and deep stereo imaging, it is recommended to place the cabinet at 2,6 Ft from back and side walls.

* Best technical and musical results are obtained by using our cable HP 216B for the connection to the amplifier same cable used for inner interconnections of the entire system.
